I went over to Ryan and Donny's new place after I had repeatedly blown them off; they were having a little housewarming party. Apparently they had invited everyone they knew over, but only Starbucks people showed up. All my favorites! Their apartment/condo is the last one in their row, and the walls are made of brick. Their living room is primarily made up of musical instruments. We had a little jam session and it was fantastic. I played the drums! Donny asked Melissa and I if we could wear white dresses and play with his band sometime. Should be pretty cool.

I am sad about this Friday! There are three fantastic shows going on.
1.) Ladytron and The Faint are playing at the Rialto (my favorite) in Tucson; it's okay that I have to miss this one because I've seen The Faint twice before, but it would still be fun.
2.) Okkervil River is having a free show at ASU. I have yet to see them, despite my roommate inviting me to see them twice in the past year. And both times, the reason I turned her down was because I had no money. Irony!
3.) Keep Your Distance is headlining a debut show at the Phix. Ordinarily, this wouldn't even be considered in my options, but my boyfriend is the guitarist, so... I'm excited!
