zombie jesus day.

I got up late today and had brunch with my mom at the Village Inn near her house. When I was 17, I dated a boy named Mike who used to frequent this very same Village Inn most weekends. There's a microphone above the podium that's supposed to be used to call in people who are waiting, and when he walked in the restaurant, he used to grab it and say, "ATTENTION VILLAGE INN PATRONS" and start rapping before it was whipped out of his hands. They installed a hook to keep it as close to the ceiling as possible. It's refreshing to see that, four years later, it's still there.

We talked about boys and my sister. It was nice.

I took Brittany to my aunt and uncle's for dinner. I can watch little kids do pretty much nothing for hours and still be highly amused. My second cousins are all the cutest kids on the planet.

I worked at Starbucks tonight and a co-worker lamented that he was highly disappointed that there were no Zombie parties going down.
