gross.

I don't know why it is so hard for some people to understand why I don't shave my legs. I don't want to alter my appearance for other people, and that's it. Last night, Bryan mentioned my piercings to counter my argument, but I do those for myself. The intention behind getting my nose pierced wasn't, "oh boy oh boy I sure do hope people think I'll look super hott with these sweet nose rings and that boys will totally want to bang me." It was, "I want my nose pierced."

It's my own personal rebellion against the standards of "beauty." I don't want to adhere to some stupid standard that everyone else has forced everyone else into. Why is being natural gross?

But seriously, shaving my legs makes ME feel good. I don't want to feel stubble when I rub lotion on my own legs, I want to feel smooth. Trust me, when you're a grown up and you have long hard challenging days you will look forward to having some time alone to relax and yes, even shave your legs. :-)

I am all for women doing what they want to feel beautiful and relaxed. However, my legs don't feel rough. They're actually quite smooth! I've gotten a professional massage before and the masseuse asked me what I used to shave my legs with because they're so smooth. She didn't believe me when I said I hadn't shaved my legs in over 3 years. Anyways, I'm most comfortable when my legs are UNSHAVEN.
I already have long, hard, challenging days, and always look forward to alone time. However, I don't think shaving my legs will cause me to relax, as I already have my own unwinding rituals.
